I was committed to earn the medal that the race sent me and the shirt! I did a 27-mile long run to check off the marathon distance. It was windy and cold but satisfied my urge to ‘run a marathon’. After coming off of two strong races in the Oct. & Dec. it was disappointing not to get back in a race to push myself but I appreciate the effort the race went through to mail my medal and shirt! I’m excited to toe the line live and in-person whenever Milwaukee is rescheduled.
